本作以剑道高手的青年·甚太为主人公，描写了从江户到平成的漫长岁月里人与鬼的关系。江户时代，山间的村落葛野有被称为“何时姬”的巫女。担任巫女护卫的甚太，某天在前往任务的森林中，遇到了述说着遥远未来的不可思议的鬼——。关于夫妇离婚的那些事儿，许多电影和节目中都描绘过不少。但在这部浪漫喜剧中，一对权贵夫妇居然秘密联手，一起为离婚努力。面对诸多阻力，他们能否如愿以偿？。The film follows a BBC war reporter and Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John Mack, whose careers were threatened by the investigation of the incident, as well as a former student who journeys back to the rural Ariel School.。
