影片讲述几个医学院的学生为了体验死后的感觉进行了一项大胆的试验：他们瞬间停止心脏跳动和大脑机能，达到临床死亡状态，然后很快恢复。试验成功了，但他们始终无法忘却那恐怖的濒死体验，而且有些东西似乎也随着他们死而复活来到了生活中。。Two young men (Jon Cryer, Rick Stear) who have been friends since early childhood decide to go on a trip to find a third friend (Rafael Baez) who has long since disappeared. Stories they have heard indicate that the friend has been seen in an apparently rambling, incoherent state at Coney Island. Their trip leads them to a number of adventures involving the otherworld-like life...。
