Niyang seems detached and with a heavy longing from the past, and therefore, the film debris permeates everything with unescapable so...。偏僻的半山村住着九岁的丁保健和他多病的母亲。一天，保健的母亲死了，村长决定让保健吃百家饭。不久村长被告知保健外出打工的父亲死于艾滋病，并要求他保密。一次记者的采访捅出了保健的病情，村民拒绝保健和他们的孩子一起上学。上级领导要来检查工作，为了应付检查，村长找到村里的闲人老赵先给保健代几天课。谁知领导不来了，可这仅有一老一少的两个人的教室却没有停课……。
