以移民的身份在美国居住15年后，阿扎回到了吉尔吉斯斯坦的家乡。一年前父亲穆拉特在美国去世，他临终的愿望是把欠家乡村民的钱还清。如今，家乡的祖屋已被遗弃，一片荒芜；巧罗因为哥哥穆拉特的牵连曾经入狱，心怀愤懑，至今不愿意原谅他们一家。尽管大多数村民都不喜欢阿扎，他还是决定要替父亲将遗愿实现。。2005年索菲亚国际电影节回顾单元评选的“保加利亚影史十部最伟大影片”之一。 A large balloon suddenly appears above villages and fields and grabs the attention of the peasants.
