富家公子哥唐剑物质无忧但身不由己，为向父亲证明自己，报名参加了一场位于湄公河丛林里的军事模拟竞赛。他邀请擅长枪械的烟枪组成小队，并许诺将个人奖金全部给予烟枪。烟枪起初拒绝但最终被奖金打动，并与唐剑寻找到格斗高手马达共同参与。而另一边的七七与菲儿一同经营着一家酒吧，酒吧经营状况不佳面临倒闭，七七欲借比赛赢得奖金以...。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
