台湾明星阿坤因失去创作灵感，遭遇过气危机。迷惘之际，他听到一位老人古老悠扬的客家山歌，因此来到广西古镇采风，机缘巧合结识了一位客家妹阿姚。阿坤被阿姚的清纯可人与甜美山歌深深吸引，两人情愫渐生，阿坤却被迫要在事业和爱情之间艰难抉择，而阿姚也陷入了是否要相信与等待的苦闷中。这一段跨越山海的恋情能否如愿？。本剧改编自2019年4月在KBS2播出的月火连续剧《各位国民》，崔始源、李裕英、金玟廷等人主演，围绕着一名偶然与警员结婚的骗子展开，他的过去让其被卷入其他事件之中，无意间获得了“勇敢市民奖”的表彰，更被提议角逐竞选。 此番美版的改编中，Milo将饰演“Charlie”，和正在CIA从事卧底工作的“Emma”（《球手们》“Kate” Catherine Haena Kim饰演）陷入热恋；某晚双方都知晓彼此的身份。Charlie意图通过“洗白”自己的家族生意，最终上岸；“Emma”则在接近与Charlie一家债务有关、极具危险的罪犯；两人被迫重新面对彼此说过的谎言，也要尽可能拯救双方家人幸免于灾难性的后果。。Back in the 80s, five friends cause raucous in their schooldays.
